The ER Wait time refers to the time you can expect to wait to have an initial evaluation by a board-certified, emergency medicine physician. This time is updated every 15 minutes. Note: The posted wait time may differ from the actual wait time you experience due to sudden increases in the number of patients seeking care.
Seven days a week from noon until 10 p.m., Parma Hospital’s “Doc at the Door” program is in effect, patients are generally assessed within 30-minutes of arrival by a physician-led team that includes a nurse, paramedic and technician. Quick triage allows the team to provide a preliminary diagnosis and order testing before the patient is even admitted to a private room.
